The Editorial Board recognizes the potential of generative AI as a tool for text processing, data analysis, and optimization of scientific work. However:

- аuthors bear full responsibility for the content of the article, including the accuracy of data, originality, and ethical compliance.

- the use of AI does not exempt authors from compliance with academic integrity standards (plagiarism, data fabrication, etc.).

Ethical Standards for the Use of AI

The use of AI must be indicated in the article if such tools were employed for auxiliary tasks only: proofreading, grammar checking, structuring, image processing.

The use of AI does not release the author from responsibility for the originality, reliability, and scientific accuracy of the submitted material.

Replication of AI-generated text without appropriate adaptation is considered a violation of publication ethics.

The use of AI for data falsification, the distortion of information, or the violation of copyright is strictly prohibited.

Transparency in the Use of AI

If the author used AI at any stage (editing, code/formula generation, data visualisation), this must be indicated after the “Conclusions” section with a description of:

- the name of the tool (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, etc.);

- the specific method of application (e.g., “for text translation,” “structure optimisation,” “grammar checking,” etc.).

Any content generated with the assistance of AI must be verified and additionally reviewed by the authors to eliminate the risks of incorrect interpretation of data or context.

Author Responsibility

Responsibility for the content of the publication, including AI-generated fragments, rests entirely with the authors.

AI tools may be used only as auxiliary instruments and not as a substitute for the author’s intellectual contribution.

All results must be adapted and interpreted by the authors.

Authors are required to comply with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, international standards, and internal regulatory documents, including provisions on intellectual property protection as well as the University’s internal regulations.

Verification of Publication Originality

The Editorial Board reserves the right to apply anti-plagiarism systems, including analysis of AI-generated content.

The originality of the manuscript is preliminarily checked in the StrikePlagiarism system. Articles with a uniqueness rate above 75% and an AI content indicator of no more than 40% are submitted for double-blind peer review.

If necessary, the Editorial Board may request additional information regarding the use of AI.

If the use of AI is detected and not disclosed in the article, the manuscript will be rejected.

Articles created exclusively by AI without substantial author contribution are not accepted for publication.

Data Confidentiality

The use of AI must comply with personal data protection and confidentiality standards.

All AI-related activities must comply with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and international standards in the field of ethics and information protection.

AI Tools Permitted for Use in Publication Preparation

- ChatGPT, Jasper AI – for text generation and editing;

- EndNote, Zotero – for bibliography management;

- Tableau, Python (pandas, matplotlib modules) – for data analysis and visualization.

The document is subject to revision and updating as AI technologies evolve and academic practice changes.
